Beta version

VideoDB 3.0.1 with VOD - please make sure your PHP version is 5.2 or above
Though everything is working, I am releasing this version as beta for now.
This release of VOD is packaged with VideoDB 3.01 (the latest as of now) as one, hoping this will reduce integration issues. If you already have VideoDB installed. All you need is to copy the config.inc.php file over. See VOD Howto

  • VOD mod release-0.2.5 - this works for both Linux and Windows server
  • Patchset - use this one if you know what you are doing 
    patch -p1 < ../vod_2.5.patch

Client Side (Windows XP)

  1. Modified VLC 0.8.6a - this is modified VLC package which handles protocle

    It is made with VLC 0.8.6a and no file association will be made during installation. It simply copy VLC to your local drive and apply the registry key for vlcstream protocol.

  2. URI handler Registry file for Windows - use this if you already have your VLC installed (under the default directory)
